New opportunities thanks to TME API
By issuing API for our tme.eu shopping platform, we offer you a new tool, thanks to which you can speed up and improve business processes related to ordering products from our warehouses.
Thanks to TME API, applications of other companies, including your own, are capable of using product data that we make available as TME. These include warehouse inventory, actual prices and technical specifications for our product assortment. What is more, thanks to the development of secure manner of logging in - without the use of a password, we offer you a possibility to personalize those applications. In this way, applications utilizing our API application, can now show you prices including your personal discounts.
Safe logging without a password
As a company that pays particular attention to security of your data, we have developed a safe method of logging via API. This method eliminates the necessity of using a password to tme.eu in third party applications.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to pay attention to the fact that your login and password to tme.eu should not be disclosed and should be used only while completing the log in form at tme.eu or in applications issued by TME. Please notify us about all instances when other companies’ applications have attempted to access these data and in no case disclose your login or password to them.
How does it work?
The process of logging to applications that will display personalized information, based on the data from tme.eu, should proceed as follows:
Application displays its disposable ID.
As a tme.eu customer, you log in to the panel on our Website. In the “Applications” tag, using the “Register new application”; open the “Application authorization” form that will enable you to change one time application ID into a disposable password valid for 10 minutes.
PIN number should be entered in the application that confirmed a disposable ID.
After successful authentication, the application will get access to your account. In the “Application” tag, in Customer’s panel at tme.eu, an entry representing it, will be displayed. Next to it, you will find an option button that will enable you to revoke the access of application to your account.
An alternative method to the one described above, is a situation in which application will generate for you a special link that will automatically verify a disposable application ID and display PIN that should be given to this application.
Account access control
At any time you may revoke application’s access to your account. All you need to do is to go to the “Applications” tag in customer’s panel at tme.eu, find the application on the list of applications having access to your account, and click “Revoke access” button. From this time on, the application will not be able to download any information from your account, unless you decide to log into it once again.
