Professional installation of electrical systems requires the use of various accessories. Not all are directly related to electricity; many are used for bundling cables and then securing them. For the latter purpose, cable ties are commonly used. HellermannTyton provides numerous models of specialized ties, as well as tools for tightening them. The HellermannTyton EVO7i and EVO9i models are manual, industrial tools designed for quick, precise, and repeatable installation of cable ties – they significantly streamline work and ensure optimal fastening strength, as well as precise material trimming.

HellermannTyton EVO7i is a model compatible with ties with a width of 1.6mm to 4.8mm (in the company's offer, these are products with the signatures HellermannTyton T18, T30, T40, T50, T80, IT18, and IT50). The maximum thickness of the tie used is 1.5mm. Tension adjustment allows the tool's operation to be tailored to specific applications. The EVO7i housing is made of lightweight, durable material reinforced with glass fiber. Thanks to its narrow and elongated working part, the EVO7i can be particularly useful during installation in confined spaces.

HellermannTyton EVO9i is a larger model designed for applications requiring the handling of wider cable ties. The tool works with ties 4.6mm to 13.5mm wide and a maximum thickness of 2.0 mm. EVO9i can be used with a wide range of series: T50, T80, T120, T150, T250, T255, WS, LK2, LK3, LK5, GL, and ECO. Similar to the EVO7i, the tension is adjustable. The range is from 53N to 307N.

Both models utilize the Tension/Lock/Cut (TLC) technology, which combines controlled tensioning of the tie, its locking, and precise cutting. This allows the operator to efficiently perform successive connections, maintaining consistent fastening tension (in accordance with the recommendations of the cable manufacturer) and an aesthetically pleasing bundle finish.

The presented tools have a range of applications and can be used in the production and assembly of cable bundles (e.g., in photovoltaics or automotive), laying electrical installations, arranging control cabinets, and making industrial automation connections.
