BASiC Semiconductor is a Chinese supplier of wide bandgap semiconductors (WBGs). It specialises in the research and development of products using the silicon carbide (SiC) technology. The company operates its R&D centres in Shenzhen, Beijing, Wuxi, Hong Kong and Nagoya (Japan). Thanks to its ongoing research, BASiC has obtained more than 200 various intellectual property rights. The supplier’s products are applied in renewable energy sources, electric vehicles, rail vehicles, industrial drives, and smart grids.

BASiC Semiconductor offers solutions such as SiC Schottky diodes, MOSFETs and driver ICs (gate drivers and PWM controllers). Available in THT and SMD versions, they boast solid current performance and wide thermal tolerance (e.g. from -40°C to 140°C).
