GIGADEVICE

Founded in 2005, GigaDevice is a Chinese fabless company and a leading manufacturer of non-volatile memories (NVMs) and CortexTM-M3 ARM microcontrollers. GigaDevice currently produces its memories in 90 or 65nm technology, but already plans to add 45nm chips to the product portfolio.

At the moment, in terms of production volume GigaDevice is third in the world for NOR Flash memories and the leader in NAND Flash memories. More than a half of 350 company employees work in research and development. What’s more, GigaDevice also holds over 140 patents in the field of integrated circuit production. All memories come in SMD packages and work in the industrial temperature range (-40 +85°C).
