TELIT
Telit Cinterion is an Italian company founded in 1997, in Trieste. It is currently one of the largest European manufacturers specialized in communication modules for the Internet of Things. At the beginning of its operations, Telit produced mobile phones, soon focusing solely on electronic circuits for GSM/2G transmission. As one of the pioneers in the market, the company quickly gained recognition. In 2023, Telit merged with Cinterion, which was previously part of the Thales group and originated from Siemens. Currently, Telit Cinterion is headquartered in the USA, with main design and operational offices located in Germany and Italy, employing hundreds of engineers creating advanced IoT solutions. Additionally, the company is not only a manufacturer of 4G/5G, GNSS, and WiFi/Bluetooth modules but also a virtual cellular network operator offering data transmission services worldwide.
The TME offer from Telit's portfolio primarily includes LTE communication modules and other cellular technologies, as well as GNSS system receivers and WiFi transceivers. These components are produced in formats for direct mounting on PCB (SMD boards) and as mPCIE and M.2 modules. They are compact circuits (the area of some does not exceed 1 cm2), with relatively wide supply voltage ranges adapted for mobile applications. They offer a wide range of interfaces and additional functionalities: USB, LAN, SDIO, SPI, I2C, PWM, ADC, SIM card ports, etc.
