TDK-Lambda miniature DC/DC converters

CCG6 and CCG10 are state-of-the-art series of DC/DC converters supplied by TDK-Lambda. Their power rating is, respectively, 6 W and 10 W. Just like the slightly older models (rated at 1.5 W and 3 W), these products feature a highly favourable power-to-size ratio. The body dimensions for both versions are only 19x12.4x11.5 mm. The converters are designed for through-hole mounting (THT).

Additional advantages of these products include a wide input voltage range and efficiency of up to 90%. Depending on the version, the voltage range is 4.5–18 V, 9–36 V or 18–76 V. The CCG components are available with single or dual, symmetrical outputs (±12 V and ±15 V DC). Furthermore, the converters can be connected in series to obtain higher voltages. Single output models are capable of producing voltages ranging from 3.3 V to 15 V DC and currents from 0.2 A to 2.6 A (components are equipped with overcurrent protection).

The converters offer a wide range of possible applications, in particular in the manufacture of compact devices and circuits. They will prove useful in general industry, communications, and measuring devices, among other things.
