How to order

How to place an order if you have an account at TME

NOTE: The details in the header may be edited throughout the whole process of placing an order.

NOTE:You cannot edit the quantity of products from an offer and the quantity of the lines for which the price was set manually by a TME employee.

  1. If you visit our website for the first time or do not have your login and password yet, please complete the new Customer Registration Form and register in our Customers’ database.
  2. If you have an account, enter your login and password and confirm these with the “Log in” button.
  3. If necessary, complete the contact person identification form
  4. If you have any incomplete orders, you will find a list of those orders in your cart (in the top right corner of the page). You may add items to your previous order or create a new one.
  5. Choose an item using a search box or browsing through product categories. While searching, you can use your own previously entered product symbols/references.
  6. While entering the quantity, pay attention to the following:
    • multiplied quantity stated in the “ordered quantity” column,
    • minimum product quantity, i.e. the minimum quantity stated for a given product in the price chart,
    • full or partial delivery – if the ordered quantity of one or more products is not available in our warehouse, you can decide whether you prefer to wait until your order is complete (if so, check the box next to the item in the cart) or want to receive partial deliveries as the goods become available (if so, do not check the box).
    • customer’s product reference – in this field, you can enter your own reference/symbol of a TME product. Confirm your entry with the “floppy disc” icon.
After entering your references/symbols into the system, you can use them while browsing through our catalogue.
  7. Confirm with the “Order” button. Adding an item to the cart (pressing the “Order” button) results in the product being booked for you. It is confirmed by the change in the “warehouse stock” column and the fact that the item is now added to your cart. You cannot add more goods to your cart if you have exceeded your credit limit.
  8. NOTE:The maximum daily value of your entire order and of an order line is limited. If you cannot add chosen products to the cart because you’ve exceeded the limit, please contact our Sales Department.
  9. When you start creating a new order and add the first item to your cart, you will see an order header. Please fill in the details in the header.
  10. The header contains the following information:
    • all necessary addresses, i.e. the billing address and the delivery address(es).
    • the customer’s order number – your own symbol/reference for the order at TME
    • expected delivery date: – your requested delivery date
    • NIP/VAT EU numbers – to be included in the VAT invoice
    • delivery method – a freight forwarder for parcel delivery
    • method of payment – how you will pay for your order

To complete the process of adding an item to the cart, press the “Create a new order” button.

  1. If you wish to order something from an offer, click the button “There is an offer for that product” next to an item, and press “Order”.With the offer, you can order only the quantity offered at the given price.
