Vibrations related to the movement of elements or improper balancing of parts working together may occur in the systems of machines and devices. Vibration dampers (vibration isolators) are mechanical components that prevent unwanted vibrations which, if not controlled, can lead to malfunction, noise generation and even component damage. It is also a threat to the users, so vibration is often thoroughly analysed when designing machines, and manufacturers produce special dampers to prevent it. The body of such damping components is usually made of natural rubber (NR), with a hardness of 40, 55 or 70 on the Shore scale. The base is made of galvanised steel or stainless steel (AISI 304). When selecting this type of elements, it is worth paying attention to the stiffness, static load and properties of the material from which the structure is built. Dimensions, diameter of the rubber part, length of the spacer and assembly thread may also be of key importance.
Transfer Multisort Elektronik offers more than 450 vibration dampers. Search engine filters allow you to narrow down the list of products according to the length of the spacer, hardness on the Shore scale (rubber part) or stiffness. In addition, the user can choose the material from which the mounting element is made. Most often it is stainless steel, but components with zinc coating are also available. When analysing the parameters, it is recommended to pay attention to the maximum load – it ranges from 24 to 24060N. TME offers comprehensive distribution of mechanical components. They include, apart from vibration dampers, joining components such as bolts, screws or nuts.
