2J Antennas
2J is a Slovak company. It was established in 2002 and from the very beginning it has been focused on the narrow domain of antennas intended for modern communication systems, especially in the field of mobile devices. The 2J products quickly gained popularity in global markets. In 2008, the company launched its office in the UK, and a few years later also in the USA, in San Diego and then Phoenix.
The 2J range available in the TME catalogue includes several types of antennas: compact radiators placed on a thin substrate that are factory-fitted with a connecting cable (designed with miniaturised devices in mind). The second type comprises SMD components (intended e.g. for portable equipment circuits). The range is complemented by short antennas mounted in an SMA socket as well as products designed to improve the performance of receivers/transmitters by placing the antenna in an optimal position (equipped with a longer connection cable and sealed body). The supplier's products are suitable for applications involving all popular communication standards. They support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies, as well as LTE (and 5G). A selection of 2J solutions is dedicated to modules for direct RF connections, as well as communication with networks based on SIGFOX or ZigBee standards. It is worth noting that selected antennas support GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) signals, such as GPS or BEIDOU. 2J also supplies “combo” (Combination Antennas) solutions that are a combination of several types of antennas housed in a single enclosure.
