INGUN
The INGUN brand name is an abbreviated version of INGenieur Union, a German phrase meaning “a union of engineers”. The company was founded in 1971 near Konstanz. Since then, it has specialised in the manufacture of accessories for automated testing of precision electronics. Today, such processes (ICT, FCT) are a well-established part of quality control in the mass production of all PCB circuits. INGUN operates worldwide – from Europe, the USA, South America to Asian markets (with offices in China and India, among others).
The INGUN product range comprises various types of test probes and accessories. The components are made of steel or beryllium copper (an alloy distinguished not only by its low impedance, but also by its durability). The TME range includes probes with tips that are suitable for all standard applications, i.e. measurements on test pads and component leads (ICT, In-Circuit Tests), performing high-current stress tests, supplying power to circuits (FCT, functional testing), microcontroller programming (ISP, in-system programming), connecting UART lines for diagnostics and calibration. In addition, the TME catalogue includes sockets designed for INGUN probes, as well as tools for their assembly and disassembly.
