MTA

MTA is an Italian corporation and one of the leading companies specializing in designing and manufacturing electronic and electromechanical components for the automotive industry.

The company was founded in 1954 under the name of Meccanotecnica Codognese s.n.c. by Antonio Falchetti in Codogno, Italy. Back then, it was manufacturing fuse valves and flexible cable bundles for contactors. The highly recognizable MTA trademark in the current form was registered in 1969. A dynamic international expansion began in 1995 from opening the very first international branch of the company in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Today, the company provides a wide assortment of products both for consumer manufacturers, industrial manufacturers, and inventors of agricultural vehicles. It is also a supplier of components used by well-established car manufacturers in the so-called initial assembly.
