The main products from Nexans offer that can be found in the TME catalogue are data cables, which are high quality multi-core, ethernet cables, intended for serial buses and installation in cable guides (automation control). They are designed with industrial applications in mind. Depending on the series, the products are characterised by their resistance to mechanical, chemical, and electromagnetic factors (shielding with the use of foil or braid), as well as their wide operating temperature range. Nexans’ products are compliant with multiple international norms, including the UL 1581 American National Standard and CSA FT1 flammability requirements.
