Piergiacomi Sud was founded in 1979 as one of the world's first manufacturers specialising in hand tools for electronics. The founders of the brand (Enrico Carini and his brother, Ermanno) decided to develop lightweight, handy and affordable tools, designed and manufactured especially for working with electronic components. Since then, the brand's portfolio continues to grow, reaching markets in more than 50 countries. Today, it includes 400 different specialist tools designed for virtually any task that may be carried out when assembling electronic components. It should also be emphasised that in recent decades, Piergiacomi has made significant investments in automating its production processes, thanks to which it remains price-competitive in relation to Asian suppliers – all the while offering products of high, brand-name quality.

The Piergiacomi Sud product range available in the TME catalogue mainly includes a wide choice of highly specialist pliers (cutting, gripping) designed for ergonomic work with tiny electronic components. They will also prove extremely useful in precision crafts, such as jewellery. In addition, Piergiacomi manufactures a variety of indispensable accessories used by electricians and technicians (e.g. insulation stripping tools), as well as workshop accessories (solder dispensers).
