SAMWHA, also known by its full name SAMWHA Capacitor Group, is one of the world's leading players in the development and manufacture of capacitors. This Korean brand offers an extensive range of components for use in many areas of industry, domestic appliances and consumer electronics manufacturing, and even in the power industry.

The company’s history dates back to the 1950s, when SAMWHA became the first Korean manufacturer to specialise in high-power capacitors. By establishing close cooperation with partners in Japan, the brand achieved excellent manufacturing standards, which it maintains to this day. The manufacturer emphasises that its mission is to produce the highest quality electronic components, free from manufacturing defects and guaranteeing long, reliable operation.

Available directly from TME's warehouses, SAMWHA's range includes a number of solutions, primarily electrolytic capacitors. These are, first of all, THT- and SMD-mounted products, adapted to work in high temperatures, industrial conditions, and with power supplies operating under constant load. The manufacturer's range also includes high-capacitance SNAP-IN electrolytic capacitors as well as versions equipped with screw terminals designed for high inductive loads, suitable for use in applications exposed to vibrations. SAMWHA also manufactures the increasingly popular supercapacitors.
