Android is an open-source operating system based on the Linux kernel, designed for mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, smart watches and televisions. It was created by Android Inc., and subsequently acquired and developed by Google, which provides continuous support and functional and security updates. The system features a modular architecture, it is modular in architecture and adaptable to different classes of electronic equipment.
Android uses interfaces based on tactile user experience, supporting gestures such as dragging, tapping or pinching. Applications running on this system are mainly written in the following languages Java and Kotlin, and their code is executed by the Android Runtime Virtual Machine (ART).
