Conquer Electronics is a Taiwanese brand that specialises in manufacturing various kinds of fuses. The TME catalogue comprises a wide range of products from this brand, including SMD fuses, commonly used for protecting circuits in chargers, mobile devices, minor audio/video equipment (for example game consoles), and sometimes also compact industrial circuits. Such fuses are usually mounted in battery-powered circuits, where a malfunction may lead to the occurrence of exceptionally high currents.
The SMD fuses from Conquer Electronics are available in a wide range of operating temperatures: from -55°C to 125°C. An additional advantage is the choice of components working with voltages ranging from 24 V DC to 250 V AC. The rated current in these fuses ranges from 375 mA to 25 A (naturally, this value differs depending on the model).
The Conquer product range includes fast-acting and time-lag fuses. The first kind of fuses opens the circuit practically immediately after a current exceeding the rated value is applied to it. The other type “blows” after the time defined in the product specification (depending on the rated current and the one present in the circuit). Such fuses work best in devices where the receiver requires substantial inrush current (capacitive and inductive loads).
Fuses come in SMD formats: 0603, 1206 and 2410. As these are the typical sizes, the fuses can be successfully used in the standard production processes, as well as the fully automated ones.
