Automatic crimping pliers with replaceable dies help prevent damage of the cables (individual strands of the conductor), as well as connectors and ferrules. They are characterised by a wide crimping range and are ready to work with cables whose diameter ranges from 0.25 mm2 to 16 mm2. They also boast compatibility with various types of terminals and connectors. Replaceable dies ensure optimal contact crimping quality, which helps minimise its electrical resistance and guarantees safe operation of electric devices. The crimping tool adjusts automatically to the size of connectors and end sleeves/ferrules. Because the pliers may only be opened after they have been fully closed, you can always be sure that the element is crimped with the right force.
BM5345 kit is delivered inside a specially designed case.
The crimping tool described here is delivered with a set of dies. The entire kit is composed of:
- crimping tool (crimping pliers) for cable terminals;
- dies for insulated cable terminals from 0.25 mm2 to 6 mm2 (AWG 22…10);
- dies for brass open terminals from 0.5 mm2 to 6 mm2 (AWG 20…10);
- dies for non-insulated copper terminals from 0.5 mm2 to 10 mm2 (AWG 20…8);
- dies for end sleeves/ferrules from 0.5mm2 to 4mm2 (AWG 22…12);
- dies for end sleeves/ferrules from 6 mm2 to 16 mm2 (AWG 10…6);
- transport case.
Keep in mind that the TME catalogue includes other crimping tool kits with connectors and end sleeves by the BM Group. Just like in the case of BM5345, the manufacturer supplies them together with special transport cases which make work in the field easier and faster.
