Microswitches
(94)Microswitches are usually small, which is invaluable in case of PCBs and modules with limited space for elements. These are generally two-position electrical switches designed for switching on or off current circuits. Switching can be done by mechanical movement. The standard switch has three contacts - common (C), normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO). After pressing the actuator, the appropriate path is switched. After releasing the pressure, the element returns to the previous state (monostable switch) or remains in the changed mode (bistable switch). Microswitches can be divided into two groups - TACT and SNAP ACTION. In the first group, the function is performed by pressing a button and has been applied to computer keyboards or machine control panels. Microswitches in the second group usually consist of a system of springs, lever and roller. Fast switching has made it widely used in motorization, sensory analysis and safety devices.
