GRÄSSLIN started as a family business of four. Today, the company is known as a pioneer in time switches technology. High flexibility combined with ingenuity and market intuition quickly helped the family workshop to become an internationally recognised specialist in time switches (including those for tariff purposes), temperature and light control technology. GRÄSSLIN sells over 1500 products in nearly 50 countries.

In 2000, the company was incorporated into GE Power Controls, which enabled it to significantly expand its operations in terms of the range of products on offer and the range of customers it reached. Since 2007 GRÄSSLIN has been a part of the Intermatic Group, a leading manufacturer of power control systems based in Spring Grove, Illinois, USA. The vast experience of GRÄSSLIN specialists in the field of time switches, as well as light and temperature control, has made a significant contribution to Intermatic as a global specialist in energy management solutions.

GRÄSSLIN constantly works on the development of its range of products on offer and the use of new technologies. The first simple, menu-based operating philosophy for digital devices was introduced in 2004, as wireless technology was applied in room thermostat switching clocks. Today, time switches communicate via Bluetooth and LAN. With the new line of Talento smart products, GRÄSSLIN has launched a new generation of digital timers. At the same time, GRÄSSLIN is already working on developing further devices for full system control.
