TOCOS, or Tokyo Cosmos Electric Co. Ltd, was founded in 1957. Since the beginning, the manufacturer has been specialising in producing potentiometers and has addressed their offer to international markets, gaining e.g. certification from the US Army, exporting products to the Eastern Bloc countries (by Polish manufacturer UNITRA) and opening branches in Taiwan and China. Today, it is one of the most renowned suppliers in their industry. The quality of products by TOCOS is reflected by the brand’s simple motto “Zero Defect,” and therefore the company’s portfolio has gained the consumer trust all over the world.

The TME catalogue contains the core of the manufacturer’s offer: trimmers and shaft potentiometers. Trimmers, used for tuning and calibration of various circuits (sensors, amplifiers, audio/video systems), come in SMD and THT versions – both in standard and miniature sizes (bodies of 3.4x3.2x2mm). In terms of the THT version,TOCOS also provides precise multiturn potentiometers. Shaft products come in sizes of 10mm, 15mm and 20mm. They are produced using coal technology and offer linear characteristics. They are also characterised by power rating up to 1W and high thermal resistance.
