Wolfspeed is a company established by Cree Inc., a leading manufacturer of silicon-carbide (SiC) diodes. Wolfspeed has been building its position on the power component market by developing solutions based on state-of-the-art materials: SiC and GaN (gallium nitride), to provide high quality, efficient and robust components for sectors such as automotive (particularly EVs) or wireless communications, as well as power supply and charging systems.

The TME product catalogue offers Wolfspeed components characterised by very good current parameters (drain current up to 285 A) and durability (drain-source voltage up to 1.7 kV). Apart from unipolar transistors and transistor modules, the manufacturer also provides Schottky (single and double) diodes based on silicon carbide and housed in THT and SMD packages.
