EXTECH

Extech was founded in 1970 in Nashua, New Hampshire. It consists of two divisions: Extech Data Systems, a global leader on the portable printer market, and Extech Instruments, a manufacturer of measurement devices.

In November 2007, Extech was acquired by Flir Systems, a manufacturer of thermal imaging cameras.

From the very beginning of its operations, Extech has been introducing innovative products to the market, most of which stay ahead of the competition, and exceed the expectations of the customers. Extech Instruments is the very first company that marketed portable multimeters and current clamps with K-type ports for thermocouples, as well as a built-in interface for communication with PC computers, enabling data recording.

Extech Instruments has an international back-office for projects and production that is located in Taiwan and in Hong Kong.

Currently, Extech Instruments manufactures 15 different groups of measurement devices, including:
