ESPRESSIF

Espressif Systems is a Chinese fabless manufacturer of SoC (System On Chip) integrated circuits and wireless Bluetooth and Wi-Fi transmission modules.

Seated in Shanghai, Espressif was founded in 2008. The Espressif modules are based on the ESP8266 and ESP32 family of SoC chips that integrate most of the functional components (32-bit microcontroller, memory, radio channels, etc.) into a single chip. Espressif solutions have been very well received both by hobbyists and professional electronic designers. This was due to the extended functionality, availability and a wide range of tools and development kits.

Espressif SoC circuits and modules are most commonly used in IoT (Internet of Things) applications.
