KANTHAL

The Kanthal brand was established in 1931 in Hallstahammar, Sweden. It has introduced and developed products based on iron, chrome and aluminium (FeCrAl) that exceeded in terms of quality the NiCr wires available on the market.

Kanthal’s offer includes Kanthal resistance wires with the diameters of 0.3 to 1.5 mm in packages of 100g or 250g. Kanthal coil wires are used in residential and industrial applications. Their characteristic feature is particularly high temperature stability. They also keep a very high resistance factor, and their lifecycle is extended due to the use of FeCrAl alloy patented by the manufacturer.

Due to their properties, Kanthal wires are used both in building precise power resistors, and in heating components. They can be used in various electric devices, machinery, and equipment for electric heating.
